THE FOUNDER

Bright Ezeribe

I am a self-taught developer from Nnewi, Anambra State. I did not go to university for this. I learned by building things, breaking them, and rebuilding. The Genesys Tech Hub program gave me structure — but the stubbornness was already there.

In 2024, I joined the 3MTT fellowship on the AI/ML track, completed every module, and got certified. At the Impact Summit Hackathon, the question hit me: why not build something that solves a real Nigerian problem? That question became NgwaNgwa Delivery — built in 15 days, with a bandaged hand, presented on stage at Enugu Tech Fest.

The logistics product ran a live pilot. It worked. Then the capital ran out. So I pivoted — not away from the dream, but toward the engine that funds it. NgwaNgwa Digital is that engine. Every website we build, every system we ship, every client we serve moves us closer to relaunching NgwaNgwa Delivery properly.

NgwaNgwa means "Quick Quick" in Igbo. That is how we work — fast, focused, and without excuses. The goal is bigger than websites: it is to build real opportunities for skilled Nigerian developers who deserve better than an empty job market.

3MTT Impact Summit — The Spark

I was a 3MTT Fellow on the AI/ML track — completed all fundamental courses and got certified. At the Impact Summit Hackathon, surrounded by builders and badge lanyards, the question hit me differently: why not build something that solves a real Nigerian problem? That day, NgwaNgwa Delivery was born.

5 Days In. Accident. Kept Going.

Five days into the build I had an accident. My hand was bandaged. I kept coding. This photo is from that day — the NgwaNgwa Delivery app on screen, my wrapped hand on the keyboard. Nobody was going to build this for me, so I built it myself.

On Stage at Enugu Tech Fest

I showed up at the Enugu Tech Fest with what I'd built and asked to present. I got the chance. Standing on that stage, holding a microphone, showing a real product built from scratch — that moment changed my understanding of what I was capable of.

Listening to Real People

I sat with vendors and riders — not to pitch, but to understand. A logistics manager walked me through the chaos. A rider explained why trust breaks down on every delivery. Both sides carry real pain. I recorded it all. The app was built from those conversations, not assumptions.

3 Days. Real Operations.

We ran a live pilot. Riders came on board. Vendors used the platform. The idea worked in the real world. But without capital to sustain operations, we had to pause. Zero sales — not because the product failed, but because the funding wasn't there yet.

The Pivot — Not the End

NgwaNgwa Delivery is not dead. We pivoted to NgwaNgwa Digital to generate the capital needed to fund logistics operations properly. Every website we build, every product we ship — it's all moving toward the moment we relaunch this.
